What this site is
PointClickFit is a free, independent directory and review site for health clubs and fitness centers. We don't sell memberships, process payments, or require an account to use the site.
Information we collect
- When you use the newsletter or contact form: we collect the name and email address you provide, plus any message you write. These forms are processed by a third-party service, Web3Forms, which delivers the submission to our inbox — we don't store form submissions in our own database beyond that email.
- When you browse the site: we use Google Analytics to understand traffic and page usage (which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, what device/browser is used). Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. We don't use this data to identify individual visitors personally, and we don't sell it.
- If you install the app (PWA): a service worker caches some static site files on your device so the app loads faster and works offline in a limited way. This is stored locally on your device only — it isn't sent to us.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We don't run ad-retargeting pixels. We don't require you to create an account or provide payment information to use any part of the site.
Third-party services we use
- Google Analytics — site traffic and usage analytics.
- Web3Forms — processes newsletter and contact form submissions.
- Netlify — hosts the website.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data that passes through them.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send. You can also block cookies or use browser tracking-protection features — most of the site will still work normally without them.
Children's privacy
PointClickFit is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
